Kite-flying review sets deregulatory agenda

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has published a consultation paper Deregulatory Review of Private Pensions, which outlines the options possible for changes in the DWP’s regulatory framework. The review is being conducted by Chris Lewin, a former head of pensions at Unilever and Ed Sweeney, a deputy general secretary of the trade union Amicus. The paper was put together following soundings from the pensions industry and it invites comments.
