The Occupational Pension Schemes (Transfer Values) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 were laid before Parliament on 11 April 2008 and, as expected, will come into force on 1 October 2008. There are some changes from the draft regulations published in July 2007 and on which the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) carried out an industry-wide consultation exercise.
